Our Product Warranty
We'd like to borrow from a well known Industry Phrase "An
Educated Consumer is our best Customer..."
In the spirit of this often heard phrase, we make every effort at
educating all potential Customers on the intricacies of CO2 and it's use with all of our
products as well as what to expect from our products before AND after the sale.
Sometimes a Customer's expectations are not realistic, like that of expecting a seal to
last forever, especially in the frozen world of CO2. Sometimes we make mistakes in
building or testing the final product and will overlook a defect that is unacceptable
under any circumstances. In these cases, Customers rightfully expect that the
manufacturer (CO2 Doctor), honor a Product Warranty with reasonable terms.
Our Warranty is simple and does not contain any fine print.
Here it is:
For a period of 90 (Ninety) Days from the verifiable
date of product delivery (Shipment Tracking Number), CO2Doctor.Com will REPAIR or REPLACE
(at our option) any product found to be defective due to materials or workmanship provided
by CO2Doctor.Com in the production of the product.
Regardless of circumstances, Customers are
responsible for all costs associated with the shipment of all returned products via US
Postal Service and should be insured (at the customer's option) and have delivery tracking
to ensure we receive the product. CO2Doctor.Com is NOT responsible for packages lost
in transit and should be insured at the customer's discretion. Please enclose a
copy of your return authorization email with your shipment to us.
Once REPAIRED or REPLACED (our option), if done so
under WARRANTY, CO2Doctor.Com will return the product, in good working condition to the
Customer, at no cost to the Customer. If NOT covered under Warranty,
CO2Doctor.Com will contact the customer via email and advise them of any repair or
shipping charges due and will be shipped back to the customer once payment is received.
Warranty term will be extended by an additional 15
days if there is any remaining Warranty left on the product. Regardless of
circumstances, Warranty period does NOT re-start at ZERO and will NEVER exceed the
original 90 Days + 15 Day extension. Warranty coverage determination will be made at
the sole discretion of CO2Doctor.Com.
What is NOT covered under Warranty
Warranty coverage DOES NOT apply to products
that have been: Misused; Tampered; Modified; Altered; Destroyed; Defaced; Painted; or
otherwise used in an unsafe manner or manner inconsistent with it's intended purpose as
outlined in the product's Instructions or directed by CO2Doctor.Com.
Tanks; Accessories; Do-It-Yourself Products or Parts,
are NOT covered under Warranty due to the potential for misapplication or
installation errors by the Customer. All product Instructions
and Safety procedures MUST be used.
Seals and O-Rings are NOT covered under
Warranty for failure(s) due to lack of required lubrication by the Customer as specified
in the Installation Instructions. Properly
maintained seals and o-rings ARE covered if in our opinion said failure is due to
manufacturing defects or actual defects in the seal or o-rings. Determination of
failure reasons are made at the sole discretion of CO2Doctor.Com with proper consideration
given to normal use and maintenance by the customer.
How to Obtain Service
Once we receive your Service Request eMail, we typically respond
within a few hours, longer on weekends and holidays. Please be sure to submit in
your eMail all of the above requested information, without this information you will be
delaying our ability to help resolve the matter in a fast and efficient manner.
Customer is responsible for return and shipment of any product
back to us whether in or out of warranty. We strongly suggest using USPS Priority
Mail with delivery confirmation when returning products back to us since it is a very
fast, inexpensive, and reliable means of shipping. Please be sure to include a copy
of the return authorization email in your shipment so we can track the return and process
it faster.
Refunds
Due to the high potential for misuse and
health concerns, we do not accept returns as a result of simple change of mind or other
non product defect or non performance related reasons. We encourage the use of our
extensive pre-sales support so that customers are 100% confident with their choices.
Unless we (CO2Doctor) have made a documented error in a product recommendation or the
product fails to perform as we advertise, then ALL SALES ARE FINAL, ABSOLUTELY
NO REFUNDS OR PRODUCT RETURNS.
If we (CO2Doctor)
determine (at our sole discretion), that the product is defective and warrants repair or
replacement in accordance with our published Warranty Policy, we will exchange or repair the item (either/or,
at our option). Regardless of circumstances, sole liability by CO2Doctor.com, or its
Owner(s) / Operator(s), and affiliates, is limited to the purchase price of the
product(s). No other warranties are expressed or implied. Ultimate judgment as
to suitability or use of our product(s) rests solely with the purchaser.
Refunds will ONLY be given in
cases where the product has not performed as advertised and the Customer returns all items
purchased in resellable condition to CO2Doctor.Com with an appropriately issued return
authorization letter. Refunds, whether full or partial, if any, will be processed
back to the purchaser ONLY in the form of a Credit Card Credit to the original
Credit Card used in the original transaction. No Cash, Checks, or other forms of
credit will be issued.
If a returned product is found NOT to be
defective after we test it, said return will be assessed a 25% Restocking Fee and deducted
from any refund due to the Customer. In all cases, we will attempt a good-faith
effort at resolving any issues with the return to ensure that we always give the Customer
the benefit of discussing our findings with a CO2Doctor.Com Technical Support Technician
prior to any final decision on a Restocking Charge.
Our Limits of Liability
CO2Doctor.Com and CO2 Doctor, LLC is NOT responsible or
liable for any damages, actual or collateral, of any type, to either materials, equipment,
appliances or the like, structures, or harm to self or others, including bodily harm, or
collateral damage(s), as a result of product misuse or modification, or not following
safety and installation instructions.
CO2Doctor.Com or CO2 Doctor, LLC, nor its owner(s), operators, or
affiliates endorses any products nor claim any suitability for use other than as
specifically stated in the product literature. All uses of product are at the Owner(s) /
Buyer(s) risk and they bear the sole responsibility for its proper use and safety. No
other warranties are expressed or implied and none are given or to be assumed. Any use or
licensing violations rest solely with the product user and not the website, CO2Doctor.Com,
or its Owner(s) / Operator(s).
By reading these Terms and purchasing any of our products or services, you
hereby agree to hold CO2Doctor.Com, CO2 Doctor, LLC, its Owner(s) / Operator(s), and
affiliates fully harmless and agree to indemnify the same for any and all losses as a
result of legal action brought on as a result of improper or illegal use of our
product(s). Regardless of circumstances, sole liability by CO2Doctor.Com, CO2 Doctor
LLC, or its owners is limited to the purchase price of the product(s). No other
warranties are expressed or implied. Ultimate judgment as to suitability or use of
product(s) rests solely with the purchaser.
